Starting My Build in Public Journey

I'm starting my Build in Public journey to document what I build as a founder the decisions I make and the lessons I learn while creating software products from scratch

For a long time I've been interested in building products exploring new technologies and turning ideas into working software Now I want to document that process publicly instead of sharing only the finished results

Building software involves much more than writing code and launching a website It requires choosing the right problems to solve understanding what users actually need making technical decisions and figuring out which ideas are worth pursuing

I want this series to capture those parts of the process that people rarely see

What I'll Be Sharing

I'll document my work on SaaS products browser extensions and other software experiments This includes development progress new features product decisions technical challenges and changes in direction when an idea no longer makes sense

I'll also share the reasoning behind the decisions I make Why I choose certain features what I learn while developing a product and how I approach improving the things I build

The goal is to make these updates useful to other founders developers and people interested in building their own products

Real Progress Over Perfect Results

I don't want this series to become a collection of polished announcements that hide the actual work

Some days I'll ship new features or launch something new Other days I'll spend time fixing bugs improving existing functionality or reconsidering an idea that seemed promising at first

Not every experiment will produce the expected results and not every product will deserve continued investment Recognizing that early and making better decisions is part of building sustainable software businesses

I'd rather document the reasoning behind those decisions than pretend every step follows a perfect plan

Building With a Long-Term Perspective

My objective is to become better at identifying real problems building useful solutions and turning those solutions into sustainable products

That means focusing on practical execution learning from feedback and improving the quality of the software I create rather than chasing every new trend
